Found this video on YouTube of an actual naked gold atom gyrating on a stage of FeO via electron microscope.
And get this, at the end, according to the caption: "Near the end 2 gold particles actually merge to form 1."
Wow! This is some "hot action" of gold here! I can't believe this made it past the YouTube censors....

I just look up a couple Tagine recipes and then every add in FireFox trys to sell me a purple Tagine pot!
1 Avogadro unit of gold is just as affordable as any other element of same quantity.
And with nano-technology - we can make more transistors and capacitors in 1 beaker with a few Avogadro units of platinum, silver, gold - whatever - than has been achieved in all of history on the planet earth.
That means that gold is passé.
Gold shells attenuated with protein specific antigens to tumors for cooking tumor laden with said shells with low level radio frequencies is a good example.
They can hoard all they want but there is still plenty of gold when you don't have to use it bulk to achieve certain and positive uses of it.
One can always look to the "The number one MMT site on the web!" for thoughtful, mature and intelligent analysis.
