1st recorded labor strike; in Egypt under Ramses III,  circa 1155 BC

Archaeological findings describe "the workers' struggle, and the corruption which had spread throughout the administration." So some things haven't changed?

The hierarchal method of organizing a society has not changed, nor has its symptoms.

Best I can tell from reading the scroll is that it is a work of propaganda, where both sides saved face while muddling through.
