Putin's visit to Egypt nets plan to build nuclear plant

I'd imagine there are some Greek citizens looking at this deal and scratching their heads, one of the leading terror states at their doorstep gets a new nuclear power plant while they are getting shit on by the rest of Europe.   Story at Yahoo here.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Egyptian counterpart said on Tuesday that the two countries plan to jointly build Egypt's first nuclear power plant, as well as boost trade relations and investments.
Too bad the morons we have as western policymakers think they are "out of money!", or they might be proposing such a nuclear project for Greece in order to convert more of its current energy demands away from imported petroleum and its products; which has the effect of increasing Greece's trade deficit leaving less for domestic investment while still trying to operate within the treaty limits of the public balance.

Oh well.
