Tesla CEO threatens firings after dismal China sales - sources

The beatings will continue until morale improves.... ah "capitalists".

Chaos at Tesla reported here.

Tesla began taking orders in China in mid-2013 for its sole product, the Model S sedan, and in January 2014 said the Chinese version of the car would be priced from around $121,000, including duties and shipping costs. In an interview at the time with Bloomberg, Musk said Tesla sales in China might equal those in the United States as early as 2015.
Whose bright idea was it to come up with a $120k car in the first place?

We're not all bazillionaires too... how many can afford a $120k car?   Sheeesh.

Here is an interesting new electric vehicle from Toyota (still in prototype).   I'm sure if they bring it to market it won't cost $120k.

This is what happens when you start believing your own libertarian supply-side bullshit.
