Corinne Segal — U.S., UK say support is weak for military action against Syria

Sanity prevails.

The Anglo-Americans are afraid to invade Syria without a coalition, since doing so uninvited is aggression, the most serious war crime. The administration's lawyers have already advised to this effect and that claiming R2P unilaterally likely would not fly.

In addition, the US already has a dubious history in MENA and with respect to the use of torture and failure to hold alleged and admitted war criminals accountable as required by international law.

The Hillary people dont understand our warrior/martial class... they cannot lead them...

And I would say that all of those in the warrior/martial class are probably smarter than 90% of the Hillary people...

"as required by international law."

What does 'international law" say about the jeopardy of a nation that lets one of their domestic cohorts conspire to conduct an international conspiracy for mass murder with impunity?

I'd bet that wasn't 'legal' under 'international law' either...

Nevertheless UK, France and German leadership are making sabre-rattling noises. Loyal American poodles to the bitter end.

Pretty good description of the US covert operations run by the CIA and affiliates for decades now.

A 3rd missile attack on our Naval ships near Yemen today, Russians are taking Mariupol after their first offensive was repelled last week, and in Syria looking for meetings with the dominant power. Obama is 0 for 3 in his objectives.

Ukie forces have been on attack in Eastern Ukraine after a buildup that violated the rules of the ceasefire. Ukraine has nixed meeting the conditions of Minsk. the agreement seems to be dead.

The DPR military commander whose code name was Motorola was just assassinated. His has been on the Ukie hit list for a long time and several previous assassination attempts failed.

Since the Anglo-Americans have decided not to attack in Syria apparently Ukraine is now on the front burner. Gen. Abazaid of Iraq fame, now retired, was recently sent to Ukraine as military adviser. Lots of Western mercenaries involved in the fighting according to the insurgents.

Ukraine looks to be turning hot as cold weather approaches.
