Is this meant to be serious? Or is it Dilbertesque? I've never read Dilbert, but, as what I know of it, it's meant to be satirical, so is Scott Adams being satirical in giving Trump an A for defeating ISIS. While the Syrians (with Russian help) and Iraqis were crushing ISIS, the US and other rogue states were arming, financing and building jihadi camps in Jordan. If Scott Adams is being serious, and from what I can gather from his post, it seems that he is (otherwise he'd have given Trump an A for race relations), he must get his news from comics.

John: ...he must get his news from comics.

"Picture books," John -- here in North America we say "picture books." "Comics" is the word reserved for kids ;)

Actually, if HRC had been elected, she would never ever have let Russia, Iran and Hezbollah assist the Syrian Armed Forces defeat ISIS. Trump permitted that and I can only imagine how furious the neocons and liberal interventionists are about it. This was NOT supposed to happen.

Tom, what exactly could HRC have done to prevent Russia, Iran (they played a small role) and Hezbollah from assisting the Syrian government? And who launched the tomahawk missiles against the SAF?

True story: The interview between Trump and FoxNews' Maria Bartiromo, a few days following the launching of the said tomahawks -- I swear on my handsome Greek looks that had Maria not asked Trump whether the missiles were manned or not (Trump with a straight face replied they were not so I believe him), I would have gone on thinking that missiles were only of the unmanned kind. True story! ;)

HRC said she would impose a no-fly zone over Syria. She could also have increased troop level beyond the ~ 4K US trainers for the "moderate rebels" and increased supply.

Would HRC have risked hot war with Russia. Speculative, but a whole lot of people thought so.

Russian air power was crucial as well artillery and cruise missile. Russian also supplied the Syrians while the US "coalition" was supplying ISIS and Al Qaeda.
